What to wear to be Bree Van de Camp?
I have to dress up as a celebrity for an event, and I am going to be Marcia Cross/Bree Van de Camp on Desperate Housewives. I don’t watch the show, I’ve just seen it a few times, so I’m not too familiar with her clothes, although I know she wears mostly classic, elegant looking clothes. Any suggestions for what to wear, and what accessories?

You almost always see Bree in one of two simple outfits.
The first one:
A form-fitting, but classy and sophistocated blazer/suit jacket.
A skirt that is conservative (meets at least the knee); in a matching color as the blazer.
A simple white or pale colored blouse.
Along with a pair of heels that are of a decent height, probably three inches, but no more.
Add pearls for accessories.
Or the “garden look”.
A pair of khaki pants, in a light creme’ color.
A pastal colored button down that is well fitted, but not form-fitting.
A pair of simple white shoes, something like Keds is what they look similar to.
And she often has a scarf in her hair.
Oh, if you want to complete the look – have a basket with you with an arrangement of flowers, or a basket of homemade muffins.
